About the Authors

James and Tanya Kirkland are a husband and wife team. After 10 years of cooking with and researching stevia, they wrote Cooking With Stevia. James is a gourmet chef and former caterer. His diabetic grandparents helped inspire him to find stevia, a healthy alternative to refined sugar and artificial sweeteners. Tanya, who lived in Brazil as a child, learned to enjoy stevia from her Brazilian family - both are graduates of the University of Texas.
