As we age, structural alterations occur in our joints, leading to painful
inflammation, discomfort, and loss of mobility. ArthroMax™ is the multi-nutrient
formula designed to provide broad-spectrum support for aging joints and
cartilage. And based on recent scientific findings, ArthroMax™ has been enhanced
with higher potencies of certain ingredients and now also contains theaflavins.
This ArthroMax™ formula contains more glucosamine sulfate along with a
special Boswellia extract known as 5-LOXIN®. Glucosamine sulfate provides
underlying structural foundation for joints while 5-LOXIN® inhibits the
5-lipoxygenase enzyme, thereby reducing levels of pro-inflammatory
leukotriene B4.
Inflammatory reactions are regulated by a series of cytokines produced in the
body. Normal aging results in an unfavorable balance of cytokines that
contributes to persistent inflammatory conditions. New studies have shown that a
special fraction found in black tea suppresses pro-inflammatory cytokines at the
genomic level. Scientists have found that these compounds called theaflavins
uniquely down-regulate the expression of genes and cytokines associated with
inflammatory conditions.36
ArthroMax™ provides these bioactive theaflavin fractions, along with
methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), which contains sulfur components that are
critically important in maintaining connective tissues such as tendons and
cartilage. FruiteX B® OsteoBoron®, a patented form of boron identical to natural
plant forms found in food and considered more bioavailable than other forms of
boron, also supports healthy bones and joints.
ArthroMax™ with Theaflavins has less than 10 mg of caffeine per serving (the
amount found in a quarter cup of brewed green tea).
