The enzymes in Wobenzym break down certain proteins in the body. It may seem strange to break down proteins, since they are essential to life. Systemic oral enzymes, after absorption, are bound in complexes (e.g. alpha-2 macroglobulin) and circulate to the injured area from the bloodstream. Proteolytic enzymes directly attack the microclots, target and digest foreign proteins, denaturing them and eliminating them by stimulating the fast form of alpha 2-macroglobulin.¹

Is Wobenzym® safe?
